Pork Cordon Bleu
Pork Cordon Bleu is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 pork butterfly chops, cut 1/4-inch thick, 4 slices ham, 1/2-inch thick, 4 slices bacon, 2 slices american cheese, cut in half and 1/4 c. brandy, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Place one ham slice over each pork chop.
Place on grill, low or medium heat for 45 minutes to 1 hour, turn every 10 minutes. After meat is tender, place 1/2 slice of cheese on top of each meat roll.
Continue cooking just long enough to begin melting cheese. Do not brown cheese.
Place on plate.
Pour 1/4 cup brandy over meat.
Light with long match just before serving.
If desired, serve on a bed of white or wild rice.
Makes 4 servings.
