Pork Chops Supreme
Pork Chops Supreme is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 pork chops (1/2 to 3/4-inch thick), 2 tbsp. oil, 1/2 c. celery, chopped fine, 1/2 envelope (1/4 c.) dry onion soup mix and 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Sprinkle pork chops with salt, pepper and paprika.
Put oil in skillet.
Heat and brown chops.
Drain off any excess oil.
Add 1 cup of water, celery and onion soup mix.
Cover and cook on low heat for 40 minutes or until chops are tender.
Remove chops from pan.
Combine flour, parsley and 1/4 cup water.
Blend in pan juices.
Add milk and mushrooms.
Cook over low heat until thick and bubbly.
Return chops to sauce.
Let stand for a few minutes. Serves 6. Serve with mashed potatoes and spoon extra sauce over potatoes.
