Pork Chop Dinner
Pork Chop Dinner is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (1/2-inch thick) pork chops, salt and pepper to taste, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1/4 c. diced onion and 1/2 c. uncooked regular rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper; brown both sides in oil.
Remove chops and drain on paper towels.
Reserve drippings in skillet.
Add onion to skillet; saute until tender.
Stir in rice, tomatoes, salt, sugar and mustard; add pork chops and bring to boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 30 minutes or until rice is tender.
