Poppy Seed Chicken
Poppy Seed Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 chicken breasts, boneless, 8 oz. sour cream, 2 tbsp. poppy seed, 1 stick butter and 1 can cream of mushroom soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Boil chicken and cut into cubes.
Saute onions, mushrooms and garlic in small amount of butter, then add to chicken cubes.
Add sour cream, soup and 1/2 tablespoon poppy seed to mixture.
Crush Ritz crackers.
Melt butter and add to crackers.
Add the rest of poppy seed (1 1/2 tablespoons) to crackers.
Grease casserole dish and pour chicken mixture in dish and spread cracker mixture on top.
Preheat oven to 350Β° and cook for 45 minutes.
