Polish Sauerkraut
Polish Sauerkraut is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut, 1 head cabbage (small), shredded, 1 onion, chopped, 1 apple, chopped and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Wash and drain sauerkraut.
Add shredded cabbage, onion, apple, salt, pepper, sugar and water.
Cook at 325Β° for 1 hour in a covered casserole.
Fry salt pork while sauerkraut is cooking.
Add 2 tablespoons flour and brown slowly.
Add pork to sauerkraut and serve.
Makes 6 servings.
