Plum Strawberry Bread
Plum Strawberry Bread is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 c. raisins, 1 c. brandy or grape juice, 1 pt. strawberries (fresh or frozen), 2 c. blended plums and 2 c. blended prunes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Combine raisins, brandy or grape juice and enough water to cover raisins in a saucepan.
Bring back to a simmer, cool and drain.
Grease and flour three 5 x 9-inch loaf pans or muffins. Mash or chop strawberries.
Combine with remaining wet ingredients and stir.
Combine with dry ingredients and mix well.
Divide evenly among pans and bake for about 1 hour.
