Pita Bread
Pita Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 3 tbsp. sugar, 2 tsp. salt, 1 pkg. dry active yeast and 2 c. very hot water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix all the above together.
Add more flour up to 4 cups to make a soft dough.
Roll out onto a floured board.
Knead 10 minutes.
Place dough into a greased bowl.
Cover and let rise 2 hours until double in bulk.
Punch down; let rest 10 minutes. Divide into 6 parts.
Roll out into 8 or 9-inch circle.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 450Β° for 5 to 8 minutes or lightly brown.
