Pita Bread
Pita Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. dry yeast, 2 tsp. sugar, 1 1/4 c. lukewarm water, 4 c. flour and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Put dry yeast in water and add sugar.
Stir until yeast is dissolved.
Add the flour and salt; mix well.
Divide dough into 2 parts.
Make into 18 or 20 equal sized balls and roll to 5-inches in diameter.
Place on cookie sheet and let rise until puffy. Bake at 500Β° for about 5 minutes, until puffed, but not too brown. Good with dips or stuffing for sandwiches.
