Pineapple Yam Apple Casserole
Pineapple Yam Apple Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained, 1 (29 oz.) can yams, drained, 2 tsp. lemon juice, 1 c. sugar and 3 large tart cooking apples, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix cornstarch, sugar and pineapple juice.
Then add lemon juice and butter.
Mix well.
Peel and slice apples.
In a 9 x 13-inch buttered casserole dish alternate layers of sliced yams, apples and pineapple chunks.
Pour sauce over.
Bake at 325Β° for one hour, stirring 2 or 3 times during cooking.
Garnish top with sliced pineapple and cherries.
