Pineapple Upside-Down Cake
Pineapple Upside-Down Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 6 slices canned pineapple, 6 maraschino cherries and 1 (9 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Microwave butter in 9-inch glass dish on Medium-high for 2 minutes or until melted.
Stir in brown sugar.
Arrange pineapple slices in dish.
Place cherry in center of each slice.
Prepare cake mix using package directions.
Pour over pineapple slices. Microwave on Medium for 7 minutes.
Microwave on High for 3 to 4 minutes or until cake tests done.
Let stand for 1 minute.
Invert onto serving plate.
Serve warm or cool.
