Pineapple Philly Pie
Pineapple Philly Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can crushed pineapple, 1/2 c. white sugar, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temperature and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cook first 3 ingredients together, stirring constantly until thick.
Cream together cream cheese, sugar and salt; add eggs one at a time, beating after each.
Add vanilla and milk. Put pineapple mixture in unbaked pie shell.
Top with cheese mixture and sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 400° for 15 minutes; then at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Inserted toothpicks should come out clean.
