Picante Turkey Pasta
Picante Turkey Pasta is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground turkey, 1 large onion, chopped, 1 medium green pepper, chopped (optional), 1/2 to 1 c. pace picante sauce and 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans diced tomatoes (undrained) or whole tomatoes (undrained), chopped or stewed tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large skillet, cook turkey with onion and green pepper until turkey loses its pink color, stirring frequently and breaking up turkey into small pieces.
Add tomatoes, corn, spices and picante sauce; mix well.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
While turkey simmers, cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
Stir pasta into turkey mixture; let stand 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
