Phyllis' Pfantasy Pfudge
Phyllis' Pfantasy Pfudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 3/4 c. margarine, 2/3 c. evaporated milk, 12 oz. chocolate chips and 7 oz. jar marshmallow crème, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Combine sugar, margarine and milk in heavy 2 1/2-quart saucepan; bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring to prevent scorching.
Remove from heat and add chocolate bits; stir until melted in.
Add marshmallows, nuts and vanilla; beat until blended.
Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Cool at room temperature.
Cut into squares.
Makes 3 pounds.
