Perohi Casserole
Perohi Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 potato perohi, cooked, 2 c. cooked chopped fine sauerkraut, 1 c. diced mushrooms, 1/2 lb. bacon and 1 small onion, cut into small pieces, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cook sauerkraut and drain.
Fry bacon and drain on paper towel.
Fry onion and mushrooms in margarine.
Combine bacon that has been cut into small pieces, mushrooms, onion and sauerkraut. Place perohi in casserole.
Cover with combined ingredients.
Bake 30 minutes in 350Β° oven.
Serve with applesauce or sour cream.
