Peppered Steak
Peppered Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. cooked rice, 1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut into strips, 2 cans beef broth, 2 bell peppers, cut in strips and 1/4 c. each: water and soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Sprinkle meat with paprika.
Brown in butter with garlic pieces; add broth and simmer for 30 minutes.
Stir in onion and green peppers.
Cover and cook 5 minutes.
Blend cornstarch, water and soy sauce.
Stir into meat mixture.
Cook, stirring, until slightly thickened and broth has a shiny look.
Add tomatoes and stir in gently just long enough to heat tomatoes through.
Serve over rice.
