Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 to 2 lb. minute steak, 1/2 c. tomato catsup, 1 1/2 tbsp. flour, 1 or 2 bouillon cubes and 2 tbsp. soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cut steak into serving size pieces.
Drench in flour.
Brown lightly in skillet with a small amount of oil.
Remove meat.
Add mixture of catsup, bouillon, soy sauce and water to skillet. Simmer 5 minutes.
Return meat to skillet.
Cover and cook over gentle heat until tender (1 1/2 hours).
Add salt and pepper, onion, mushrooms and peppers.
Cover.
Steam until vegetables are just tender.
Serve over rice.
