Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 lb. round steak, cut in serving pieces, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1 clove garlic, halved and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Brown meat in oil; add onion, garlic and seasonings.
Dissolve bouillon cube in water; add to meat.
Simmer until meat is tender. Add tomatoes and green pepper.
Simmer 30 minutes.
Thicken with cornstarch mix.
Serve over hot noodles.
Makes 4 servings.
