Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. round steak, 1/2 medium onion, 2 c. water, 2 beef bouillon cubes and 2 tbsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cut steak into 1/2-inch strips.
Salt and pepper to taste. Brown in a small amount of oil with onion.
Add 1 cup water and bouillon cubes.
Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour over low heat. Mix 1 cup water and cornstarch; add to meat.
Add celery and green pepper.
Add Worcestershire sauce to taste.
At the last minute, add chopped tomatoes.
Serve over rice.
Serves 6 to 8.
