Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. beef chuck steak, cut in thin strips, 1/4 c. oil, 1 c. bell pepper, chopped, 1 clove minced garlic and 1 tbsp. soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Brown beef in hot oil.
Add garlic; simmer.
Add soy sauce, salt, and water; cook 45 minutes.
Add vegetables.
Cook for 10 minutes.
Blend 1 c. water and cornstarch; add and stir.
Add tomatoes; cook 5 minutes.
Serve over rice. 4 servings.
