Pepper Jelly
Pepper Jelly is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. cider vinegar, 1/2 c. ground hot peppers, 1/2 c. ground green peppers and 1 (6 oz.) bottle liquid fruit pectin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix sugar and vinegar in saucepan.
Add peppers and bring to a boil.
Turn off unit and let mixture cool for 5 minutes.
Add liquid pectin and food coloring.
Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
Invert for 30 seconds to one minute.
Makes 3 pints.
