Penne with Vegetables
Penne With Vegetables is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 8 oz. pasta, cooked & drained, 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil, 1 med. onion, chopped, 2 cloves garlic, crushed and 2 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In a small sauce pan, saute onions & garlic in olive oil until browned.
In large sauce pan, melt butter.
Add flour & stir.
Slowly add Half & Half and milk, simmer, stirring constantly till thickened.
Add cheese & seasonings.
Stir until cheese melts and add tomatoes, spinach and onion mixture.
Heat through.
Pour over warmed pasta toss and serve.
