Pecan Pralines
Pecan Pralines is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. buttermilk, 1 tsp. baking soda, 3 c. white sugar, 3 tbsp. white karo syrup and 4 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In large heavy saucepan, dissolve soda in buttermilk over low flame.
Add sugar and Karo syrup and cook stirring over medium heat until soft ball forms when a small amount is dropped in cold water.
Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla and pecans.
Beat several minutes with wooden spoon.
When mixture starts to thicken, drop by large spoonfuls onto wax paper to harden.
Store in airtight container.
