Pecan Pie(Old Family Recipe From 1800'S) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick butter, 1 bottle syrup (16 oz.; i prefer kings red label golden syrup when i can find it), 6 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. pecans, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Add syrup; mix thoroughly, then add one egg at a time, mixing thoroughly after each egg.
Then add vanilla, salt and sugar.
Add pecans last.
I mix all this by hand; I do not beat it.
Pour in pie shell (unbaked).
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour.
Makes 2 deep shells or 3 shallow pies.
