Pecan Pie
Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. flour, 1 c. light brown karo (or 1/2 c. white and 1/2 c. brown karo), 3 tbsp. butter and 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine and beat sugar, flour, syrup and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each egg is added. Add vanilla and lemon juice and beat vigorously until bubbly.
Pour over pecans in an unbaked pie shell and bake at 300° or 325° until pie shakes like jello. I double the recipe. Use one 10-inch and one 9-inch pie plate and a quart of pecans.
