Pecan Pie
Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. pecans, 6 tbsp. margarine, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. red karo syrup and 4 eggs, beaten (reserve 1 whole egg white), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Heat margarine and syrup in saucepan and set aside.
In mixing bowl, mix sugar and eggs together.
Pour warm syrup mixture over eggs and sugar mixture.
Add vanilla and mix well. brush 1 egg white on unbaked pie crusts.
Spread pecans in bottom of pie crusts.
Pour above mixture in crusts over pecans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
Makes 2 pies.
