Pecan Crispies
Pecan Crispies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 2 eggs, 2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed, 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cream the shortening and sugar, beating well.
Add eggs and beat well.
Combine flour, soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture; mix well and stir in pecans.
Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cool slightly on cookie sheets before removing.
Makes about 5 dozen.
