Pecan Cake
Pecan Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. raisins, 1 lb. shelled pecans, 1 c. candied orange peel, chopped fine, 2 c. flour and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream butter and add sugar gradually.
Beat egg yolks and add to butter and sugar.
Sift flour, baking powder and nutmeg together; add to egg mixture alternately with grape juice.
Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into batter.
Chop nuts, raisins and orange peel, flouring with 4 tablespoons of flour.
Stir into mixture; do not beat.
Pour into a tube pan that has been sprayed with Pam.
Bake for 3 hours at 250Β°.
