Pecan Avocado Salad
Pecan Avocado Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. lime flavored gelatin (3 oz. pkg.), 1 c. boiling water, 1/2 c. sour cream or cream cheese, 1/2 c. mayonnaise and 1 c. broken pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
Refrigerate until thickened to consistency of unbeaten egg white, then whip until foamy.
Beat in sour cream and mayonnaise until thoroughly blended.
Fold in pecans, avocados, onion, celery, green pepper and salt.
Pour into 1-quart mold.
Refrigerate until firm.
Unmold and garnish as desired.
