Peanut Butter Swirl Bars
Peanut Butter Swirl Bars is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 40 minutes. Made with c. crunch peanut butter, c. softened oleo or margarine, c. brown sugar, packed, c. granulated sugar and eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Preheat oven to 350°.
In large bowl, combine crunch peanut butter, softened oleo, brown sugar (packed) and granulated sugar. Beat until creamy.
Gradually beat in eggs and vanilla.
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Blend into peanut butter mixture.
Spread into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
Place in 350° oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven; run knife blade through to marbleize.
Return to oven; bake 25 minutes more.
Cool and cut into 2 x 1-inch bars. Makes 4 dozen.
