Peanut Butter Fudge

Mix sugar, syrup, salt and milk together in saucepan (an iron skillet is better).
Cook to soft ball stage, when dropped into cold water, the syrup forms a soft ball when rolled between fingers or 236Β°.
Remove from heat until thickened.
Pour into a buttered 8 x 8 x 3-inch baking dish.
Cut into 1-inch squares.
