Peanut Butter Cookies

Combine sugars, shortening, eggs, brown sugar and peanut butter.
Beat well.
Sift flour, soda, baking powder and salt together and add to creamed mixture.
Blend well.
Roll about 2 teaspoons of cookie batter in hands to form a ball.
Place balls on a cookie sheet and press each one in the center firmly with a fork. Bake 10 minutes at 350Β°.
Yields 5 dozen cookies.
