Peanut Butter Cake
Peanut Butter Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt and 1/3 c. soft shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Sift first 4 ingredients together into bowl.
Add shortening, milk and peanut butter.
Beat 2 minutes.
Add milk and eggs.
Beat 2 minutes more.
Pour cake mixture into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan or two 9-inch layer pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes in 9 x 13-inch pan or 30 to 35 minutes in layer pans.
