Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. raw spanish peanuts, 1 1/2 c. white granulated sugar, 1/2 c. white karo syrup, 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix first 4 ingredients in large skillet.
Over high flame, stirring constantly until mixture becomes rather smooth and light in color, turn off flame.
Add baking soda, stirring constantly. Immediately transfer to greased cooking sheet, allow to cool, then break into small pieces.
One batch makes 2 1/2 pounds.
