Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. white corn syrup, 1/2 c. water, 2 c. pecan halves and 1/2 stick oleo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In a heavy 4-quart pan, combine sugar, syrup and water.
Boil rapidly over high heat until it spins a thread.
Add pecans. Continue cooking until it turns a light brown.
Remove from heat. Add oleo and vanilla.
Add soda.
While it is still bubbling, pour out on 2 greased cookie sheets as thinly as possible.
Let cool.
