Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 stick butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup white karo syrup, 2 cups raw peanuts and 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Melt butter in electric skillet at 350°.
Mix in sugar, peanuts, and syrup.
Cook at 350° for about 10 or 15 minutes or until golden tan.
Stir in 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda.
While mixture is still hot.
The mixture will foam, so stir good.
Pour mixture on tinfoil lined cookie sheet and spread quickly.
Cool and break into pieces.
Yield: 15 - 20 servings.
