Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. white syrup, 1/2 c. water, 2 c. raw peanuts and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Boil sugar, syrup and water until it will spin a thread (240°). Add peanuts and salt and continue cooking slowly over a low fire until it turns a golden brown at the hard-crack stage (300°). Remove from fire and add butter, baking soda and vanilla.
Stir quickly.
Spread on two large cookie sheets that have been well buttered.
Cool and break into pieces.
