Pavlova (Meringue)
Pavlova (Meringue) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 egg whites, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 tsp. white vinegar and 3 tbsp. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Combine first 4 ingredients.
Beat on high for 2 minutes.
Add boiling water and beat on high for 7 minutes.
Mixture will be stiff and form a peak.
Put foil on baking sheet or bottom side of a round tin (9-inch size).
Put oil on foil and spread to edge. Spread meringue mixture from center to edge.
Bake in slow oven, 300Β°, for 1 hour exactly.
When cool, peel foil from bottom and place on dish.
Cover with whipped cream.
Add sliced fruit.
