Pat's Fresh Apple Cake
Pat'S Fresh Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2 large eggs, 5 c. chopped fresh apples, juice of 1 lemon and 3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Peel and seed apples.
Squeeze lemon juice over them; set aside.
In large bowl, combine sugar, eggs and oil.
Mix well until smooth.
Sift together flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add to sugar mixture.
Fold in and mix well.
Add vanilla.
Fold in apples and nuts.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Bake at 350Β° approximately 1 hour.
