Pasta Fritters
Pasta Fritters is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 (16 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, cooked, salad oil, 3 green onions, finely chopped, 1/4 c. flour and 2 tbsp. parmesan cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Coarsely chop cooked spaghetti; set aside.
In small saucepan over medium heat in 1 tablespoon oil, cook green onions until tender.
In medium bowl, mix flour, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, egg and 1/4 cup water.
Stir in green onions and spaghetti until well coated.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil until very hot in a nonstick skillet.
Into hot oil, drop mixture by 1/4 cups into 4 mounds, about 2 inches apart.
With pancake turner, flatten each mound slightly.
Cook fritters until golden brown on both sides.
Drain on paper towels.
