Party Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. packed light brown sugar, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat oven to 375Β°.
Beat together sugars and shortening until light and fluffy.
Blend in eggs and vanilla.
Add combined flour, soda and salt.
Mix well.
Stir in 1/2 cup candies.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Press 2 or 3 additional into each cookie.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Makes 6 dozen 2 1/2-inch cookies.
