Pam's Chocolate Chips Cookies
Pam'S Chocolate Chips Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. softened oleo or butter, 3/4 c. packed light brown sugar, 3/4 c. granulated sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
I mix these by hand.
Beat butter, sugars, vanilla, water and eggs until fluffy.
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Add this to the butter mixture.
Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet, sprayed with vegetable spray. Bake at 375Β° for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are just starting to brown.
If you overbake them, they will be hard and crispy rather than soft and chewy.
Makes about 6 dozen (2 1/2-inch) cookies.
