Paige's Pretzels
Paige'S Pretzels is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yeast, 1 1/2 c. warm water, 4 c. flour, 1 tsp. lite salt (optional) and 1 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Preheat oven to 425°.
A large bowl, dissolve yeast in
1 1/2 cups warm water. Add 4 cups flour, lite salt and sugar. Mix well.
On a lightly floured surface, knead the mixture well with your hands.
Roll pieces of dough into any shapes you like. Place them on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with a nonfat cooking spray.
In a small bowl, beat Egg Beater.
Brush the tops of the dough with the Egg Beater. Sprinkle with coarse salt.
Bake the pretzels at 425° for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. This is a great recipe for the kids to make!
Yields 1 1/2 dozen big soft pretzels.
