Oyster Casserole
Oyster Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. oyster crackers, crushed, 5 tbsp. melted butter, 1 pt. oysters (retain liquid), salt, pepper and nutmeg and 1/4 c. oyster liquid, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Combine cracker crumbs and butter.
Alternate layers of oysters and crumbs in an 8-inch square pan, sprinkling each layer with a dash of salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Mix together oyster liquid with milk and pour over casserole, then top with crumbs. Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
