Oven Steak Stroganoff
Oven Steak Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. round steak, cut in portions, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1/3 onion slices (1/4-inch thick) and 6 medium potatoes, sliced 1/2-inch thick, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven to 350°.
Using 9 x 13-inch pan lined with aluminum foil, cut meat.
Add salt and pepper.
Place the onion on meat.
Layer potato slices and arrange mushrooms on top.
Mix the soup, sour cream, catsup, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a bowl and spread over top of pan ingredients.
Now wrap with aluminum foil.
Bake 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours at 350°.
Serves 4 to 6 people.
