Oven Caramel Corn
Oven Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 15 c. popped popcorn (no salt), 1 c. packed brown sugar, 1/4 c. karo light corn syrup, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1 stick margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Preheat oven to 200Β°.
Combine brown sugar, Karo, salt and margarine in a large pot.
Heat on medium, stirring occasionally, until it reaches a full boil.
Cook for 5 minutes.
Remove from burner and add baking soda.
Stir until all foamy.
Pour immediately over popped popcorn, coating well.
Bake in large shallow pan for 50 to 60 minutes.
Stir every 15 minutes.
Cool. Store in an airtight container.
