Oven Baked Chicken With Fruit is an easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken pieces, 2 tbsp. cooking oil, 1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained, 1 c. barbecue sauce and 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin orange slices, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown chicken in hot oil.
Drain.
Arrange pieces in an oblong baking dish.
Combine pineapple and barbecue sauce; spread over chicken.
Cover and place in refrigerator for 3 to 24 hours. Bake, covered, at 375Β° for 50 to 60 minutes.
Spoon off fat. Garnish with oranges; spoon sauce over all.
