Oriental Sauteed Rice
Oriental Sauteed Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. green onion slices, 1/3 c. red sweet pepper, chopped, 1/2 c. oleo, 4 c. cooked rice and 2 (8 oz.) cans water chestnuts, sliced*, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In large skillet, melt oleo and saute onion and pepper.
Add rice, water chestnuts and parsley.
Cook over low heat until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.
Stir in grated cheese and continue cooking 5 minutes.
