Oriental Chicken Salad
Oriental Chicken Salad is an impressive dinner. Made with 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 1- 8 oz. sliced water chestnuts, drained and halved, 3 green onions, chopped, 1/4 c. sesame seeds and 1/3 c. sliced almonds, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Boil chicken breasts in water with salt and pepper until done.
Chop chicken.
In mixing bowl, combine chicken, water chestnuts, onions, sesame seeds, almonds and poppy seeds.
In another bowl, combine sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper and oil.
Mix or shake well.
Pour over chicken mixture.
Refrigerate for 3 - 4 hours or overnight.
Before serving, toss with noodles and lettuce.
