Oriental Casserole
Oriental Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground, lean beef, 1 small onion, chopped, 1/2 c. celery, chopped, 1 small can water chestnuts, drained (save liquid) and 1 small can mushrooms, drained (save liquid), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Brown together beef, onion and celery.
Add chestnuts, mushrooms, rice, pepper and soy sauce to mixture.
Add enough water to the saved liquids from chestnuts and mushrooms to make 2 cups.
Add to beef mixture.
Stir just to mix.
Put in covered casserole and bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
