Oriental Beef
Oriental Beef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. beef, cut into strips, 1 tsp. meat tenderizer, 1 pt. (8 oz.) fresh mushrooms, sliced, 1 small onion, sliced and 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Sprinkle meat tenderizer over meat in 1 1/2-quart casserole. Add all ingredients except pea pods and mix well to coat evenly. Cover with casserole lid.
Microwave (High) 13 to 14 minutes or until meat is just about tender, stirring twice.
Add pea pods; cover.
Microwave (High) 3 to 4 minutes, stirring once.
Serve over rice.
